OPERATOR CHAMPION
This competition seeks the best orator who can deliver speeches with confidence, fluency, and charisma. Participants will be assessed on their language proficiency, delivery techniques, strength of arguments, as well as their ability to influence and captivate the audience. The competition aims to produce young speakers who are articulate, authoritative, and critical thinkers across various fields.
FIRST ROUND (30/10/2025) - RECORDING
Special Competition Requirements

Each participant must deliver their speech in English Language and follow the theme set by the organizers.

Participants must elaborate on their points in a relevant, critical, and impactful manner.

No visual aids such as slides or videos are allowed.

The presentation style must be formal composed and convincing.

The speech must be polite and must not contain political elements, vulgarity, provocation, or content that touches on religious or racial sensitivities.

Participants must adjust their tone and facial expressions to match the message being delivered.
Theme: “Knowledge Drives Civilisation, Language Unites the Nation”
The speech must be original and the participant’s own work. The organisers reserve the right to reject entries that do not meet requirements or are suspected of plagiarism,
without prior notice.
Time:

Participants are given 6 to 7 minutes to deliver their speech.
Prepared Speech Text Format:

Soft copy in PDF/Word format.

Purpose: to review structure, content, and detect plagiarism.

Video Recording Format:

Each recording must be completed in a single take, without editing.

Camera must remain stable (tripod/fixed device).

Format: MP4, 1280 x 720 (HD).

Ratio: 16:9 (landscape).
-
Shot: medium (waist-up).
-
Face must be clearly visible, with adequate lighting.

Audio must be clear and free from background noise.

File name: (INSTITUTION NAME_ID NUMBER_SPEECH TITLE).
Video Submission Format:

Files must include both the “Prepared Speech Text” and “Video Recording”.

Submission is via Google Form (Google Drive link) provided by the organisers.

Ensure the link is accessible (not private/empty file). Otherwise, the submission will be deemed invalid.

Participants without access to Google must inform the organisers for an alternative submission method.

Only the final version submitted by 23:59 (GMT+8, Malaysia Time) on 30 October will be accepted. Any re-uploads after the closing date will not be considered or evaluated by the jury. (Participants are advised to convert this to their local time zone to determine the exact deadline in their country.)

Special Competition Requirements

Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and be ready when their names are called. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the competition.
Time:

Round 1: Prepared Speech from FIRST ROUND – 6 to 7 minutes per participant.

Round 2: Impromptu Speech – topic given, 3 minutes for mental preparation without external aid, followed by 4 to 7 minutes to deliver the speech.
Bell Signals:
